We are excited to have you join us at our Out of School Hours Service (OSHC), where we provide a safe and nurturing environment for children aged 4-12 years. Our services include:
Before School Care (BSC) and After School Care (ASC) during term time.
Vacation Care (VAC) and Pupil Free Day Care (PFD) during school holidays.
At our centre, we aim to create a caring space where children can enjoy a variety of activities and choose freely from the programs we offer.
Please note that during term time, we accept children who attend Hornsby North Public School only. However, during our Vacation Care program, we welcome children from other schools as well.
On behalf of the Hornsby North Community Care Association (HNCCA), we would like to extend a warm welcome to our Centre. We look forward to providing your child with a fun, safe, and engaging experience!
Our Commitment To Child Safety
HNCCA is committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive environment whilst ensuring the safety and wellbeing of every child at our service. All children and young people have the right to feel happy, valued, supported and safe.
We are also committed to:
- Having a zero-tolerance approach to child abuse.
- Utilising the Child Safe Standards to ensure we keep children and young people safe.
- Having an appropriate employment process to screen, interview and employ Educators, including verifying WWCC’s, conducting reference checks.
- Providing Educators with appropriate training in child protection and active supervision.
- Ensuring children feel respected and empowered to express themselves freely and feel heard.
- Making sure children know who to approach if they feel unsafe or have any safety concerns.
- Responding to and reporting any allegations of abuse in a timely manner.
- Having policies and procedures in place to safeguard children and young people.
